Pros
I started at Flexport last April, and if I’m being real, I probably would’ve given the company 2 stars back then. Things felt messy, communication was rough, and it took effort just to get basic work moving. But over time, I’ve seen a lot of improvement. Teams are more aligned, priorities make more sense, and the overall environment feels way more stable. Because of that, I’d give it 4 stars now, and I’m hoping it keeps trending upward.
Cons
Some legacy processes still slow things down, and you can feel the remnants of earlier organizational issues. Not everything is perfectly consistent across teams, and there are still moments where priorities shift too quickly. But compared to last April, the difference is significant. The biggest change for me is how much smoother collaboration has become. As a UX Engineer, I finally feel like design and engineering are on the same page. People listen more, projects have clearer direction, and the day to day work is just more enjoyable.
