Pros

Upon applying, it moves very quickly. I was contacted within a couple days to set up an interview. After the first interview, I was contacted again within a week to set up another interview, and less than a week after the second interview I was told I got the position. I'm used to companies waiting a month or more to send a response to my application. Additionally, they send you an email briefing you over what the interview will cover (either behavioral or resume questions answered in the STAR format) which was nice because I knew in advance how to prepare for it. My first 30 have been enjoyable and a learning experience. My manager was enthusiastic about me coming down to the plant to tour it as well as set me up to begin working. He's pretty busy with meetings, but will always try to make time to help out with something and answer some questions regarding my project. Moving to a new place where you do not know anyone can be intimidating, but everyone I've spoken to at Flowserve has been very nice and enjoys conversing with coworkers (especially at lunch).

Cons

The first interview was over the phone (understandable), but the second interview was over webcam (also understandable given who and where the interviewer was). For some people, this is better because it can take away some of the pressure, but personally I like to make eye contact with the person I'm speaking to and not a camera. Additionally, I was rushed a little to get out to my new job (relocated) which was stressful because I had to find a place to live and figure out how to move all of my stuff within a week, but when I made it to my relocation there were plenty of things that were not ready for my arrival (credentials, badges, laptop etc.). It didn't take too long to get that sorted out, but it made my first couple weeks very confusing and inconvenient.

Pros

The work environment is great especially towards new employees. Great people and organization. The organization really values safety and cares for its employees. The pay is pretty good for entry level. There is great flexibility in how you manage your projects as an engineer.

Cons

No cons really, except for the location itself; Kzoo is rather dull especially if you are coming from a more urban location. If you can, live in the surrounding cities instead.
