      Great opportunity for promotions.

      Food lion is supposed to be based on family values and promote themselves as such. However, this is the true side of food lion: Unsafe work environment makes employees unload heavy trucks with manual pallet jacks. It would be safer and more efficient to use an electronic pallet jack but Meg Hamm turned that idea down because of cost however they end up paying for injuries and if you file claim they look for immediate termination. Also, the manager had my fiance take employees tests for them because he couldn't depend on them to pass. After being in critical condition at the hospital for three days they used a lame excuse to terminate. GREAT FAMILY VALUES, MEG HAMM!!

      Too much work for one individual in any department and underpaid. They use and abuse you until you are mentally drained.
