Was a great company, until they went private and all the managers left.

Cons

No upward mobility, at all.

Sorry you didn't get the promotional opportunities you wanted. We have members of the exec staff and vertical market GMs who started as sales engineers and are now at the highest levels of leadership. Most of the current VPs have been internal promotions, not external hires. Internal talent development and promotion is incredibly important to our culture and business success.

Pros

Working with the accounting team was great!

Cons

Moved some accounting operations over seas and did not train the employees properly resulting in US employees consistently cleaning up the mess. This is due to management team not knowing the job well enough to train the employees properly.

Sound like you are having a negative experience. Point of clarification, we regularly review the company vision, mission, strategic imperative, objectives and goals. This happens at All Hands, extended leadership team meetings, functional leadership teams, etc. All non-sales employees have their own goals and objectives that are typically attached to a bonus. We do this to create clarity and alignment. Sounds like you are not plugged into any of this, which is a bit odd. You can check in with your manager, look at Lattice where we track goals and objectives, or look at our intranet for PPT's that lay this all out in details.
