Pros
I usually write pros/cons as a list, so here goes:
- Amazingly kind and smart co-workers. These people have become some of my best friends.
- The company is willing to invest in tools / technology so that we can do our jobs.
- Very flexible in terms of employee suggestions.
- Fun and exciting product. 3D printing is trendy... but the product is next-level in terms of quality and performance.
- Free lunch 3 days / week (family lunch). It's usually pretty good too.
- I'm encouraged to work on things I like... If I like what I'm doing, I'll probably be good at it too.
- Flexible schedule (some people arrive at 8am, some at 10:30am).
- Newly renovated office space
- Great health insurance.
Cons
- The fast-paced startup life can sometimes be demanding (late nights etc).
- Somerville is a bit far from the city (but good if you like hipster stuff).
- Bike room is too crowded.
