      Pros

      Formulatrix is a really great place to work! We recently scored a HUGE win, selling off a product line for $260M to Qiagen. And there is more where that came from (lots going on in R&D). We might be small, but we're a force to be reckoned with. Some Pros: - Working on innovative, cutting edge products - Great team- lots of smart colleagues. - Generous profit sharing. - Strong management team really focused on solving big problems. - Practically zero politics - Incredibly strong business, very profitable. Minimal waste/ineffiencies.

      Cons

      - Bedford is a great town, but it's not necessarily "urban chic" if that's important to you.

      Pros

      A global company with a local feel. Overall the atmosphere is very friendly and open. Most of the employees (>90) are self-starters and are given a great degree of freedom with their projects - and there are many projects! Professional but casual research and development groups. New ideas are encouraged and some end up as products! The engineering team is top notch and work with other hardware and software engineers worldwide.

      Cons

      Some overseas travel may be required. Dealing with traffic on 95!

      Pros

      - Small company feel where everyone knows your name - Open door policy with all employees including the CEO - Cross-departmental collaboration on what's working and what's not - Flexible work hours to accommodate for family time - Competitive pay with profit-share and bonus opportunities - Dynamic challenges that keep the work interesting

      Cons

      - None really. At times the work can be demanding, but that drive is what has made this company so successful.
