Pros

Independence, entrepreneurial culture, smart colleagues, intellectually challenging, opportunity to meet entrepreneurs and business leaders at companies

Cons

Lack of transparency in numbers. I don't understand how other divisions are comped, I don't understand how other divisions perform, I don't even understand how we get our bonuses--we get crappy bonuses but then our stock price shoots up the next day when earnings are announced!

Pros

The absolute best reason to work at Forrester is the people. My team is full of incredibly bright, talented, motivated individuals, and there's no lack of stimulating conversation. The work environment is flexible, for the most part. I can leave to go to a doctor's appointment, for example, but flexibility comes at a high price: I often work late into the night and for entire weekends at home.

Cons

If you're promoted from within, everyone else with the same title will be better compensated than you. I often feel like I work hard and give 500% effort for nothing.
