      Good place to work, weak culture

      Pros

      Market leading UTM technology; strong channel and overall engaged mid-level management. Average to above-average pay; especially if you were pre-IPO.

      Cons

      Upper management failed to create any type of real culture. Vp-level leadership was mostly weak. The move up-market from the SMB to Enterprise level was very clunky as marketing failed to help the company convince the marketplace that Fortinet products are Enterprise ready.

      Pros

      The good thing is that the company is profitable. Everyone works hard and the result shows. Also management held meetings to let everyone know how business is going.

      Cons

      Biggest problem for me was that I felt out of place since I'm not Chinese. Everyone worked hard, but it was hard to tell whether they really liked being there.
