Pros

There are genuine, impactful opportunities to leverage technology to improve business outcomes across the portfolio of companies. If you are able to make the right connections then it's possible to work on something career defining and earn a leadership title if that is your desire. Otherwise, you'll meet some nice people and earn decent pay/benefits for a non-tech firm.

Cons

Fortive culture exhibits toxic positivity, encourages embellishment of reported outcomes and consistently chooses to sacrifice product quality to keep operational costs "small." It's incredibly difficult to do any quality technical work despite the abundance of potential in front of you.

Pros

This company is a great place for incompetent individuals who have failed in other companies to find leadership roles easily. They manage to present themselves as having achieved something by running projects, but in reality, they are like a cancer to society, focusing only on short-term results and making the workplace difficult for colleagues. It's an ideal environment for such toxic individuals to thrive.

Cons

There are too many to list comprehensively. In short, it's a sinking ship. Due to space constraints, I mentioned the cancerous leadership under the pros. For those who enjoy a bureaucratic, government-like environment and want to waste time in RA and MA positions while draining the company’s resources, this is the perfect place. Here, you can create rotten SOPs that obstruct the Sales and Marketing teams, making it an excellent company for those who want to earn a salary by doing nothing productive
