Merit increases are minimal, which can be discouraging. Responsible for leading multiple studies, resulting in a consistently heavy workload. Limited career advancement opportunities; promotions are rare. Work is repetitive with little chance to learn new skills or explore new areas.

- Workload in some FSPs - Travel stipend hasn’t changed in years for food or hotel leading you to subsidize the company’s travel or stay at a Motel5 and eat McDonalds - Management is hands off - Promotions come late and raises are comical (2%). No bonuses here! Inflation? Employees can eat the increases while we charge crazy rates to our customers. - They’re actively reducing benefits for employees (no CRA stipend, gym reimbursement, health insurance, we have to pay for labs) - IT department is outsourced and only sometimes competent - Don’t forget the layoffs!
