-The underwriting department is led by bright visionaries with great emotional intelligence. These leaders are crucial in providing the initiatives, goals and targeted guidance necessary for success -The underwriting department is sustained by an incredible culture of motivated hard working underwriters -The Chief People Officer is charismatic, transparent and people first. She truly cares about every single employee and will go above and beyond to make sure these employees are appreciated and rewarded for their hard work -The People & Culture team work so diligently to maintain a truly special culture and keep employee satisfaction high. Their employee recognition and appreciation programs are exceptional -The culture of Forward Financing is truly one of one. Hard work is always seen and appreciated. It’s a job you truly wake up excited to work -Having the the flexibility to work remotely and commute into a beautiful office space at your leisure is a very rare benefit among its contemporaries in the industry. As I'm 50+ miles away from the office space, this is a very appreciated perk -I feel very thankful to have a job that helps positively impact real people and small businesses by giving them the access to the capital they need to sustain and expand their businesses

The company offers a solid benefits package, including complementary insurance and additional PTOs beyond standard vacation, which really supports work-life balance. The culture is genuinely welcoming — it feels like a place where people care about each other and take pride in what they do. The team is made up of incredibly talented individuals who are both collaborative and inspiring to work with.

Cons

There are moments when other departments seem to influence our workflows without enough collaboration, which can make it feel like our team's autonomy is being overlooked.

Forward has an incredible work environment. Everyone is important, and the leaders in each area demonstrate this.

Cons

One of the biggest disadvantages of forward is the communication process when changes are expected. Some people are affected by certain changes and only find out later when the plan is already in place.
