Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. It has been such an exciting time for us here and we have certainly experienced a lot of growth these last few years. We started with smaller teams who have been with us from the start. Many of these loyal employees have certainly built strong bonds over the years, which we are proud of. With our team nearly doubling in size over the past year and now being in our new location, everyone is on one floor allowing teams to be more diverse and integrated across departments. We are constantly trying to make improvements within the organization including providing professional training for all employees and management included. We hope that training has provided all of our managers with the tools to be better supervisors and leaders for all of our employees. We agree that a full-time HR department is imperative to an organization and we are proud to provide the update that today we have a Director, People and Culture as well as two direct reports supporting the team. This group is also responsible, in part, for helping us cultivate the thriving, open culture that we have today. I believe our whole company feels the positive impacts of our open and honest culture and hope that if you came to visit us today, you would see that teams are more open and not cliquey. I’d be happy to discuss any further feedback you may have. Please email me directly at sbraley@forwardfinancing.com

Pros

- The company is very eager to assign new responsibilities to everyone’s position. - Task depth and expansion happens very quickly for all positions. - The company supports employee training and development, when employees ask for resources to invest in skill development the company is happy to help. - All of the employees and welcoming and supportive of each other. - The culture of the company is progressive and close knit. - The company encourages company bonding with team building activities (paintball, escape the room) and month end celebrations. - My specific role allows me the opportunity to interact across multiple departments. - I have been given a large amount of responsibility for the amount of time I have worked here. - All employees work closely with and have access to the CEO and COO.

Cons

- Although you have the ability to gain more tasks in your role, department structures are quite flat. - The company is working towards creating clear job paths for employees because there currently is a low understanding of where positions lead. - The size of the company requires that everyone works 110%, which can be tiring, but is always recognized. - The office building is a bit old.
