      Low dev pay, boys club mentality. Don’t recommend

      They have a decent benefits package.

      Cons

      Low pay, Poor management, Very very poor dissemination of information, Cliquey, Non inclusive working environment. New devs get put on testing and documentation tasks rather than actual development, You have to threaten to quit in order to get a decent raise. Boys club management

      Pros

      The executive team at Forward Slope are all very engaging and consistently putting together gatherings (within covid guidelines) for team/company bonding as well as asking for feedback. The company culture genuinely supports a great work life balance. Healthcare benefits are very fairly priced compared to many other companies. And although culture can vary by team, the team I’ve been on has been the best team I’ve worked for.

      Cons

      Due to this being a subcontracting company, there’s not always a ton of room for growth. However, the experience you do gain here is very valuable. No annual bonuses - except employees did receive a bonus in 2021 (likely due to saved costs from no company parties because of COVID)
