Pros

well-run spa, relatively consistent money, easy to take time off, amazing company benefits.

Cons

Classic corporate nonsense, high director turnover. The main problem with FS Denver across the board is that the only people who make a living wage/good money are the ones who make commission and tips. So while I love my job, I can see why this property has such a low rating. The disparity between how much servers/spa technicians make and the rest of the hourly staff is unacceptable. They also contract out alot of positions (housekeeping, spa attendants, laundry etc) to predatory companies that underpay and exploit folks.

F&B Deptartment in Disarray

Business Outlook

Pros

- Support for growth opportunities - Free nights at other properties - Generous PTO structure

Cons

- The F&B department was in such disarray when I was employed there. I understand it is hard to find good talent in remote areas, but I was blown away by how poor my experience was. - Extremely expensive cost for employee housing: $900 per month to share a tiny hotel room or $1,850 for your own tiny hotel room - Paid time off doesn't include average of tips like similar competitors
