Great company with lots of attention given to AI, Analytics, Engineering, and Human Centered Design
Pros
- employees are typically allowed to make their own schedules, which is surprisingly seldom abused - leadership transparency via weekly town halls - remote work has allowed teams to be made up of incredibly talented individuals from around the world - strong community presence despite remote work! Employees are encouraged to email the entire company of 3k+ employees for experience and guidance when exploring new territory - management is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and always looking to support the employees - the company pays full salary through onboarding, training (6 weeks in my case), and getting placed with a client team - lots of resources offered for pursuing further education and growth. Maybe the best company I've ever seen for supporting curiosity. - lots of career mobility and opportunity to change one's own course
Cons
- no 401k matching - heavy MBA presence, which means lots of PowerPoint presentations that are mediocre on substance and are posturing - as teams can be heavily off-shore, alignment of hours to meet with client and intra-team and can be tricky. - managers often commit to work from the team without first consulting with the analysts, developers, etc. those that are the ones that produce the work - overload of "new to company" and "this is my last day at the company" emails - you kind of need to get hired twice... once to join the company, then again after training to get onto a team. Several from my onboarding cohort did not get placed with a client, and were eventually laid a year later, though they were making full salary during that period
