      Generally speaking this is a low stress environment compared to other public accounting firms, especially the Big 4! Awesome culture in the Firm cascading down from top leadership Very competitive salaries, great work environment Passionate about helping each employee reach their potential

      Pros

      Fun culture (lots of firm-sponsored social events), light hearted atmosphere, and great first job out of college (get to try out different departments before choosing).

      Cons

      Some of the smaller departments, by nature, don't have as much priority in the eyes of the partners. Turnover in these groups have a significant impact on the employees and clients, making it difficult for the partners to ensure continuity. At times, I felt as though better decisions could have been made to keep the right people.

      Pros

      Great people overall. The managers and partners are pretty understanding of their staff and try hard to make the work environment a pleasant and enjoyable one. It's an entrepreneurial environment which means there are opportunities if you go for them. Effort and passion are definitely recognized here, and the firm does have more of a family feel to it than some other places where you might just be a number; a good alternative to any big 4 firm.

      Cons

      Long hours during busy season, but that goes for any public accounting firm. Benefits not as good as one would wish.
