Pros
Freedom plaza is a wonderful company to work for, with respectable and professional management. Hard work and a smile will get you places here. Lots of nice and fun employees as well as managers and assistant managers. If you love hospitality and a fast paced, team-based environment, then freedom plaza is definitely for you. They really appreciate their employees and communicate well, and have lots of inclusive and creative events that employees are welcome and invited to. They also include a rewarding point system to purchase items of your choice, at no cost to you. Depending on your length of employment and dedication to your position, you can achieve higher levels of being a server, which is nice for a raise, but comes with more responsibility. Freedom plaza is a wonderful place to grow and learn good work ethic, and is a friendly environment for neurodivergent folks as well.
Cons
A few downsides of freedom plaza is the average age group that is hired. You work with lots of young adults and teenagers and with teenagers comes drama and less teamwork. It’s a common issue and can be overlooked pretty easily. Management can be overworked but they handle it very well. Understaffing is common.
Dealing with retired residents comes with a need for extreme kindness and patience, as well as a fun sense of humor. And the staff parking is quite a walk from the main building, but walking is good for you. :)
