Pros

Great industry - great people - great life experiences

Cons

It tends to take over your life 7 days a week and due to restructuring after Covid things are chaotic and there is little accountability and lots of passing the buck. Lot of people feel trapped and disgruntled. Also constant random lay off’s - you could be next any time

Consistent work, consistent payment, decent projects

Cons

Hired by temp at one rate than when brought on by freeman offered 10% less. Raises have only been .30 to .60 cents a year. climbing ladder for more responsibility and higher pay is like pulling teeth nearly impossible.
