Thank you for this review and the kind words you shared! We are glad that you enjoyed your experience at Freeman and appreciate your contributions to the company, including the extra time invested during busy months. Our company and industry have definitely been heavily impacted by Coronavirus, and are saddened by many of the decisions we had to make to protect the long-term health of the company. That being said, we are optimistic about the future of our industry and business and will continue to focus on measures that will help us be successful moving forward. We wish you all the best and hope that our paths will cross again in the future!

Pros

Good people and senior management at the very top who know what they're doing and where they want the company to go. Unfortunately this vision is held back by middle management. Good end product(s), hard working atmosphere. Great clients, great output, in theory a great company with plenty of potential. Great career potential for global work and travel. Some amazing clients which ultimately could end up to lucrative retained global contracts..

Cons

A lot of pointless middle management who achieve nothing and bring nothing to the table - yet meddle in virtually all matters outside their remits creating problem after problem for those delivering projects. An expectation that other offices/divisions and/or companies in the group will be treated as 'clients' - as opposed to colleagues. Too many cross-Atlantic politics, particularly with the Canadian office which is ran aggressively in a 'machine gun style, and throwing grenades to the London office. The consequence of this is unharmonious and unconstructive teamwork. Most people in the business are in it for what they can get rather than what is best for the company. The operations director in London is a good example of this; he spends more time appeasing the Dallas office to further his career than running London's office correctly or operationally astutely. Evident failure to properly onboard new acquisitions to the wider group, causing friction between offices and companies in the group as the new CEO's have the belief they are higher in the food chain than they actually are. Ultimately these issues have caused toxic environment to work and deliver projects in - despite the projects themselves being lucrative and on occasion highly profitable.
