Pros

You get to take on exciting important projects, projects that save the company hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. My supervisor facilitated presentations to management which helped get the project I worked on passed. Very flexible work schedule - I worked anywhere from 4 hr to 14 hr days and from 4 -10 days straight. Very saftey conscious environment. Daily safety meetings Laid back friendly coworkers

Cons

Can be difficult to get overtime in an hourly position 60 hr/week expectations for engineers It is desired that employees relocate every 2 years There are very unhappy people in laboratory settings

Pros

Good benefits, fairly low stress, good pay.

Cons

Absolutely horrible "office politics" at the management level grind away at personal productivity motivation. Micro-management and control reign supreme.
