Pros

FreshDirect is an exciting place to learn and grow. It's very fast-paced and there's always something new going on, so if you want to learn about a lot of different aspects of the business, there's opportunity to pick up a lot of skills.

Cons

Because the pace is so fast, there's a lot of pressure to get things done quickly, so necessary maintenance tasks may fall behind. Work-life balance is often tough, and people tend to be rewarded for "going the extra mile" or saving the day during an emergency rather than just doing consistently great work.

experience was so bad, i really dont have any thing positive to say.

Cons

overt culture of racism, sexism and very discriminatory practices. a retalitory stance from corporate if you do speak out. incompetent supervisors, indifferent mid level and upper management. an operations model that doesnt work and working conditions that are in direct violation of dept of Labor and OSHA edicts.

NO Pros....about this company...just straight up garbage!

Cons

I worked as a runner full-time. But it actually felt like i was working part-time....making $9.00 hr and tips. The union (UFCW) is garbage....a complete, utterly waste of time union, that makes underhanded deals, that only benefit their own interest. UTF Trucking is a shell company...it doesn't exist...Only on paper. Don't waste your time working for this company!! A bunch of snakes...
