Great Company, Must reassess pay to Flight Attendant

Pros

Ability to grow, Great Talent, Awesome base system.

Cons

Pay, relatively low pay versus competing airlines like jetBlue, Allegiant, Southwest, and Spirit. Especially with such a high demanding company, and the most rigourous training in the industry.

Pros

Good for first airline. Good trips for low seniority. Easy and relaxed work environment. Salary is better than regional airlines but still low compared to most.

Cons

You pay for all your uniforms and luggage. And they have a certain amount that you have to purchase. It's pay deduct but your looking at least $600 with the bare minimum. Salary is a low pay-scale with no opportunities for bonuses, equity or profit sharing. Reserve is very difficult, 24 hour shift 3-6 days at a time, will not fly much, no way to make more than guarantee unless you are at the Denver base. Crew scheduling is disorganized and doesn't know the contract. Constantly changing show-times, flying 14/16 hour days. Management is very disorganized with crew planning. All the gate agents, ground crew and cleaners are outsourced. FA's are very much on their own with the company and outsourced companies not supporting the FA's

Cons

Horrible Management!!!! Horrible HR Dept. !!!! Horrible W/C Dept. They do not care about their employees. Pray that you don't ever get injured on the job. If you do, get a Lawyer!!!!
