Substandard compensation; additionally, PTO policy intended to minimize costs of hourly labor cutting into employee work-life balance for administrative staff. Under US Labor Laws managment can't have their cake and eat it too with respect to treating salaried employees as if they were hourly. If you wish to treat employees as hourly then make the position hourly and pay the costs associated with overtime pay, etc.
