Pros

Great former verizon people who know what it's like to work for a real company, while dealing with the hooterville mentality of Frontier leadership.

Cons

Small town mindset in a big stakes game. No respect for employees. Feel sorry for those who couldn't retire when this company bought the NW.

Pros

people I worked with directly

Cons

over half of installations for "new" products went badly. Also, this rural phone company can not compete in the high tech space so is falling behind

Basically, a good company

Pros

Not too much top-down management to contend with. The levels of management are few between the CEO and the front line

Cons

pay is lower than for other telecommunication companies. Little advancement opportunities. Also, the landline business is disappearing. Company's future existence is shaky.
