You remain employed and receive a pay check. You have opportunities to work for students and parents that are concerned with their child's education.

Cons

Very few opportunities for advancement. Many jobs are filled internally by those within the same office. Diversity in hiring is lacking greatly.

I love teaching students. It is so rewarding to helps students achieve what they thought was impossible.

Cons

Unfortunately, teaching students is a very small part of my job as a teacher. I spend most of my testing, doing paper work, and jumping through hoops Fulton county creates.

North Fulton schools offer a great environment to work. Compared to other school systems, there are little behavior problems. Schools are ranked among the best in Georgia.

Cons

Fulton County is large. There is a great discrepancy in the schools from North and South Fulton. There is an enormous pressure for high test scores.
