Pros

GAINS is a great place to work - comprehensive benefits, supportive management & career growth exist across the organization. The company's response to the COVID-19 pandemic prioritized employee safety & wellbeing. The product is a diamond in the rough, the customers are wonderful, and GAINS team is intelligent & good to work with. The company is making the investments needed to grow. Overall I've found everyone at GAINS to be thoughtful, hardworking and kind.

Cons

GAINS doesn't do a great job sharing medium or long term plans or KPIs with the broader organization. They've implemented some communication structure (all hands meetings, newsletters) but could still do more to provide transparency.

A great, small but growing company

Pros

The team is small but growing which provides many opportunities for everyone to contribute. New employees gain experience and participate on real deliverables very quickly in their GAINSystems career. Employees are exposed to many projects, allowing them to learn about several clients/industries. Able to participate in many areas of the business to learn lots of skills (consulting, product design, technical skills, etc.) Great team that is fun to work with Great benefits

Cons

There is not a lot of visibility or many updates from management. There isn't always a clear company mission and strategy/performance is rarely communicated to the company. Sometimes installs require a fair bit of support.

Rapidly growing company with plenty of opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities Advancement is completely merit-based Diverse customer base with exposure to many industries and many international customers as well. Work is interesting, intellectually challenging Flexible hours and ability to work remotely

No significant cons. My overall experience at GAINSystems has been very positive
