Pros

Family first atmosphere. Extensive opportunity for advancement if you preform. World class training in all facets of the industry and sales that is renowned across all industries. I have had endless job offers from other companies ever since I put Gallo on my resume... I am still a Gallo employee and plan to be for the foreseeable future. I look forward to my next promotion and challenge.

Cons

Heavy and endless workload (which I would prefer over being bored and unchallenged). A lot of travel (a lot for work but also some for all expenses paid incentive trips). Notoriously underpaid (but have since instituted impressive bonus structure). They are a very self aware company and keep their pulse on the moral of the enterprise.

Pros

Gallo is a family owned company, so we are not beholden to stock holders and quarterly reports. We are one of the largest companies in our industry, and our growth is outpacing the overall category. Gallo has a very family oriented environment, many of my best friends are also employees.

Cons

As the category leader in our industry, people are often recruited by our competitors by offering higher salaries.

Pros

The culture of the company is very energetic and engaged in every department throughout the organization. Some of my co-workers have become some of my closest friends outside of work, regardless of our geographical differences. On the sales side of the company, the senior management does an excellent job empowering their teams to make high-level business decisions. Sales Leadership also places a high emphasis on personal and professional development whether you've been with the company 2 years or 25.

Cons

The company (and the industry) operates at a very fast pace, which can be a turn-off for some people. Also, some of the sales planning cycles can be long and tedious, but are sometimes a necessary task in an ever-changing environment.
