Pros

The have a decent benefits package and reasonable time off policy by American standards.

Cons

The entire organization is unable to execute. Getting simple resources like a server are next to impossible even on critical projects. You are buried in "required" training that does nothing to benefit the organization or your career. Lots of hubris throughout the organization. They talk about developing a center of excellence, but they are far from achieving any of that. The environment, and talent that is attracted to it is not the best and the brightest. Lots of customer commitments have been made for products the organization does not have the ability to deliver on.

The checks come on time... except for that one time they slipped all pay a week to meet quarterly numbers. The commute isn't bad for me. Sometimes the work isn't terrible. Some of my coworkers are fun.

Cons

Travel will only be to terrible places. There is no joy in anything we do here. Team building is more depressing than a funeral. The pay is critically low for this area.

Pros

Intelligent, motivated employee base that is passionate about delivering for customers and businesses. Wonderful Legacy and great technology base that spans so many areas. Wonderful training and development opportunities.

Cons

Company is downward spiral followIng Immelt's disastrous reign. Global Research has shed some of its best talent in 2017 with massive layoffs led by a tyrannical CTO. Attrition is huge.
