Pros

Excellent benefits with decent pay, Plenty of opportunity for growth across the board.

Cons

Upper management makes the occasional misstep, such as investing several million in New Foods for an industry that simply won't pay back in the long run. Otherwise, can't complain.

Pros

The group is doing very well and globally it is a good company and employer. But in Dubai, UAE even if the business is profitable, employees are treated very poorly.

Cons

Certain people in the UAE management are quite paranoid and others in the team use this paranoia to their advantage. This is the reality here - Employees are monitored like a hawk. A particular Director at UAE grants special favours to some and then expects them to report even minute details about other employees, even about their personal details and lives. Micromanagement is overwhelming. Even what one does during break times is monitored. Dubai branch is the worst place to work for! If your current employer and job is not that bad don't make the mistake of joining here (Dubai office). Unless you don't mind being jobless in a few months. They will entice you during the interview process. Once you join, you will be treated very poorly. One Director screams at you at the top of his lungs in front of everyone. It won't matter if you an office boy or C level employee. A lot of people at the head office are aware about this but no one wants to rock the boat when the business is profitable. So do yourselves a favor and don't join here. You will be doing yourselves a favor.
