Solid Work, Terrible IT, Poor communication with other departments
Pros
Excellent Work Benefits Lots of time off. You can literally just say "I'm done for today" and leave if you have the vacation hours. Lots of data and feedback so you know where to improve. They pay for your 20-44 license.
Cons
Terrible IT work. The incompetence will surprise you when the application fails on you for the nth time. Zero AI use, making niche insurance laws very hard to look up, frustrating customers. You're the frontline of dealing with customers, and the underwriting department never tells you why this or that customer is denied. You often end up being the bearer of bad news with no good reason for it. Very annoying compliance department (so-called "Quality" metrics), who basically demand that you stay a good little machine, completely ignoring all contextual indicators on the call.
