Pros
It's alright! In Melville there's still WFH most of the week in PIP/FPM. Hourly wage is pretty okay. Everyone I've met is generally nice. The job isn't too hard to learn and the company will go out of their way to make sure you're taught well. It's very easy to ask questions and get an answer. The managers I've reported to have all been extremely courteous and kind. **The job isn't nearly as bad as it's made out to be.**

**That said, the job can absolutely be as bad as it's made out to be at times.** The workload can become nuts and near unmanageable. It's hard to take time off to rest and recharge because the work you left while you were out is still there when you get back, plus everything that came in while you're out. Metrics are crazy. If you're a good examiner, you'll hit the quality metrics just fine - but the production metrics are nearly out of hand. It can become callcenter-y if you don't manage your claims and your phone. It is important to learn, be open to learning, and pay attention - not just in training, but to your claims and customers. Those who don't fall behind FAST and don't stick around. Claims can move at the speed of light, and it can be paralyzing when everyone needs everything at the same time.
