Pros

To be honest it would be hard to outline pros. Good canteen and toilet facilities. Good car parking. Electric car charging.

Cons

Worked here as a Team Leader for 10 months. Was part of the original team to start the contract up from scratch. First three months were very rewarding and enjoyable. Stressful but very rewarding however the Senior Management who never actually came on-site were clearly creating a toxic culture and it started to seep down the management chain. Slowly one by one my colleagues started to leave and be replaced. There was a good portion of time I had no manager as she had left due to being overworked and berated or ops manager as he was fulfilling his own duties and that of the general manager who had left prior. Geodis then replaced my old ops manager with two ops managers. I had fallen I’ll with depression and anxiety largely due to this job and having my first child and received no support and anyone who cared had left due to feeling similarly to me. I had to sit through countless meaningless investigations because of instructions I had followed because the senior management team did not communicate and instead of treating me respectfully, they treated me as a criminal. This company has no regard for health and safety nor the feelings of the employees. I will say I worked with some fab ppl whilst working here and I will cherish those experiences but the company is best avoided in my opinion. Do your own research before interviewing here and try to speak to existing employees first. Poor senior management: They encourage bullying in the work place. They manipulate people into quiting / leaving in order to bring their own people in (this was after the old ops manager left and two new ops managers joined Workplace became a toxic and poisonous atmosphere where everyone is out to catch you out and defame your character. Poor HR: Changed shifts but couldn't even tell me the correct info. My shift pattern was changed 3 times in space of a week and I was basically told to like it or lump it. Health and Safety nightmare: The new ops managers that were hired didn't even turn up to health and safety meetings they had rescheduled. In my time there of 10 months I have done some recognisably amazing work setting up a major department but unfortunately after change in management I have received nothing but bullying, constant accusation/harassment until eventually they destroyed my mental health so much I walked out of the job and didn't even bother with the notice period. I strongly recommend people do not lower their standards so much in order to work here (Lutterworth Magna Park, Amazon contract) Senior Management (I would name you but that'd be unprofessional and I'd hate to be as bad as you) Your inhumane and outright bullying tactics to try and get what you want is so unprofessional and you don't deserve the position you hold.
