Pros

Work life balance Generally a friendly environment Working from home is possible in many areas of the business GSK House is a superb office space Excellent cycle to work support and facilities

Cons

Bonuses incentives can drive staff seeking to raise profiles rather than getting things done. This can result in unnecessary projects with overstated benefits being delivered. There is large layer of senior management bloat particularly in the support functions. The company promotes transparency but decisions on who to invest in (talent management), performance ratings and certain internal appointments are done in cloistered corners. Many meetings end with no decisions and no actions. Share price is flatlining IT infrastructure sand internal systems creak at the seams
