Pros
Training programs are awesome, my immediate managers have been great mentors and are always available for assistance, problem solving, and training for upper management level. Hard work and dedication is recognized by onsite management.
Cons
It can be difficult to seek promotion in California properties, doesn't seem like there is a lot of opportunity for growth. Although I was given great onsite training for a management position, there was little opportunity to be promoted. Housing discount for living on a Gables property is great, but variable rent increases every year exceed fixed associate annual raises, so it's like getting paid less each year.
