      I worked for Gables for 5 wonderful years. I loved the training classes every month. As soon as another position opens up I'm going back.

      No cons. I left on good terms.

      Pros

      Gables is an outstanding company to work for. They care about their employees and maintain excellence through great mandatory training classes. They offer fitness programs that include incentives, free health evaluations yearly with prize giveaways, conduct annual awards ceremonies using hilarious character themes. Gables also hosts quarterly events just for employees by shutting down offices for a day of fun and entertainment to show their appreciation. Community service events are held yearly by helping the less fortunate renovate their homes. The CEO of the company even participates and climbs ladders to paint and get dirty! They also have a great bonus structure and great pay. Their open door policy makes it comfortable and easy to seek any assistance needed from upper Management.

      Cons

      Due to a high volume of Management team members. Advancement opportunities are sometimes difficult to obtain or may take a very long time to obtain.

      Leasing Agent- responsible for leasing apartments, assisting residents, preparing leases

      Pros

      Excellent training, opportunity for advancement. Apartments are kept up and the grounds are taken care of so leasing is a pleasure.

      Cons

      Worked two years without a weekend off. Hours can be long. You never know if you are being recorded by " mystery shoppers " and you are required to make a 100 on the shop.
