      Pros

      I work as a remote intern, helping them with some excel work, prospecting potential customers, and other miscellaneous projects. Although the work can be boring, it is what it is; the pay is good and I learn a little about Excel and about the industry along the way.

      Laying off folks to make way for AI

      lots of time off. gaining knowledge of the CS industry at a high level

      Snakes in the grass when it comes to colleagues and leadership. AI is replacing human thought there.

I believe there is far more opportunity in using AI to handle the work humans can’t or don’t want to do, rather than to replace jobs.
