Pros

Amazing "human first" culture from the top down where you're working with incredibly smart, kind people that honestly feels surreal! On top of that, the product (PX) is taking off and about to be leading the market, so it's a great time to be here.

Cons

Wouldn't even define them as "cons", just the usual challenges that you have with bringing a "newish" product to market. Gainsight's product experience (PX) platform is relatively new, but we have the backing of our flagship, market leading platform on the Customer Success side (our CEO, Nick literally wrote the book on Customer Success) so having that solid foundation to build upon is an absolute advantage.

Pros

I've worked primarily in both multinational enterprises and local nonprofits. In the amount of time I've been here, I've seen a lot of growth and maturity in its approach to business and as well as investment in its people. I think it also is worthwhile to mention that I am a woman of color and a new mom, and I feel wholly respected, supported, and valued by my teammates and company. When I have needed time off, or even had milestones in my personal life, my leadership and colleagues have encouraged and supported me. Especially during Gainsight's response to Covid, I admired and appreciated our leadership's commitment to keeping all employees, and even improving our business model for our existing customers to assist struggling businesses, companies and organizations. That strategy proved not only fruitful but is a great example of doing business human-first.

Cons

My "cons" can honestly be seen as "pros" for different people. If you're in California and love going into the office, it's largely WFH with occasional meetups. For some people that's a solid "pro", but I am starting to miss my teammates in person - and sometimes it can be hard to book remote meetings with teammates across the globe for major projects. Something challenging that I actually enjoy is the quality and standards of work - my peers are some of the most talented and high-performing people I've worked with, so I do my best every day to meet that same level of engagement and care--though sometimes it can get tiring over time.
