The best part of working at GameStop is the customer base and the people the company attracts, though this is taken advantage of.

Cons

Unrealistic Sales Goals No Sales Incentives whatsoever The only people who I saw get rewarded for meeting sales goals (by becoming a manager) were the ones that lie to customers to boost their numbers. This was done by the manager of my store and I've heard the same about others. On multiple occasions I was told to be both strict and loose with company policy, leading to a schizophrenic, toxic sales environment where everything you do is wrong in the eyes of management, with no upside when you actually do manage to meet goals.
