Well paid compared to peers. Good location. Stable working hours.

Cons

Too stable and flat if you have an ambition. But this industry is like this and not so many companies. This is already a leading firm but still only 100 ppl.

Small company. Nice small town . Away from Chicago.

Cons

Slow strategy switching. Ignorant supervisor. Small scale company but dominated by aged management level. Slow and stubborn on changes regarding either business strategy or human source managing.

Pros

Pretty good amount of freedom to work on what you're interested in. Opportunities for mechanical engineers to branch out and work on some of the software aspects, if interested. Very low turnover.

Cons

Flat structure does not necessarily offer a lot of room for growth, especially as many of the engineers are fairly young (certainly not near retirement).
