Pros

A majority of the employees work here because they want to give back to our community and help those in need. Teams work to the best of their ability on incredibly low budgets (the lower level staff).

Cons

Hard work is NOT rewarded, for those who go above and beyond are expected to do so. Company raises are non-existent, management indicates this is due to them being "non-profit", insurance is very expensive and only high deductible plans are offered. There is almost NO development of employees happening. Depending on your working location, employees are not even informed about new job postings or career opportunities. There is a very high turnover rate.

Understaffed, For quite a few months I was acting director and there is only one Other individual after we lost director and staff but showed me what I was fully capable of so I take cons and I tried to make them into positive things. I saw my full potential . Teamwork is something that is necessary for success and I did not really see that as crucial as it should have been. I'm
