The pay is not bad but it takes a while to move up the pay scale. The stat pay for working holidays is pretty good The coworkers are so amazing, there’s a great sense of teamwork and camaraderie There is a union but there’s so many issues that they’re overworked and struggle to deal with Garda The benefits and pension are good

Cons

Hope you like micromanaging! You’ll constantly have management and catsa watching your every move waiting for you to mess up. Plus catsa runs tests on you. The managers range from mostly incompetent to will sexually harass you. And HR is abysmal and only cares about protecting scummy managers If you pick up extra shifts they aren’t overtime The schedules are terrible Don’t expect to have weekends off for a few years You’ll either work early morning 2:30-4am starts or end late 7-11pm end times There are hardly any part time shifts and you’ll never get those as a new employee
