Pros

Health insurance premiums were fully covered by the company. PTO benefits were good, starting at 4 weeks in the first several years.

Cons

Nothing. I only worked for the company for a few months and during that time I enjoyed the work and management.

Pros

Company wants to care about employees, employee stock plan, pension and 401k. Insurance benefit is reasonable. Cool products and nice employee discount.

Cons

Too many layers of management. Directors do not encourage employees to progress in their career, as if they are afraid of being replaced. Lies and backstabbing are common.

Pros

Occasionally there are some fun and interesting projects to work on. There are also some really incredible people to work with.

Cons

Culture supports avoidance of accountability - it's much easier to blame someone else for failure than accept responsibility for your contribution to it. People get promoted based on who they know, not necessarily because they've earned it. At one time, it wasn't like this.
