Pros

1. Fast Pace Learning. 2. Famous Company

Cons

1. The company is quite focusing on the announcement and release of the wearables devices every year which means employees don't have much of time in designing, verification, trial runs. The whole schedule is always intense. 2. The salary is under-estimated than industry average. 3. The cost scoping for each project is quite limited.

Pros

Some good benefits (such as dental cover) Greater than average holiday time If you have no other choice, work there for a year, just until you find something better to move on Big company, gives you a sense of stability and security that it will not go bust anytime soon

Cons

Much lower salaries than the market and do not expect them to rise Close to zero chances of promotions and advance (unless someone from the US headquarters likes you) Don't expect to be appreciated, even if you work really hard and do twice work as others do Do not expect to work with the latest of technologies, unless you are part of a US team, especially on the ERP side Very bad management, lots of managers who have no clue what they are doing One of the worst HR, which actually runs the UK office. People there think that they are the aristocracy and have a police attitude towards people. Funny enough they are the least working people of the UK office and in all of my years there, they were more interested in promoting useless charities than actually doing something to improve people's jobs Do not expect your appraisals to make any difference, even if they are excellent. They are just perfunctory and have no real meaning to your career. In the end, you will get the same small annual raise as everybody else, even if they have worked the 1/3rd of what you had during the year
