It comes easily when you work on such cool products that you can truly be proud of and work with fantastic, hard-working individuals sharing the same passion. And hey, you might even make a friend or two in the process. there are the best reasons to work here

      Kansas is not the most fun state. otherwise there are no downsides.

      Pros

      Garmin is a fun, innovative company that does it's best to be open to progressive ideas. The work that I have done at the company has been very interesting as the GPS navigational devices market is blooming and starting to get a lot of attention. The company puts a priority on hiring very balanced employees who have technical skills, social skills, and practical skills. I feel like this helps a lot with team cohesion and in creating user focused products.

      Cons

      It is not very simple to transfer within the company to other business sectors. It would be great to have more R & D within the subsidiary companies of Garmin.
