Pros

Very interesting field (IT research and advisory services). Outstanding product Talented personnel. Strong Corporate leadership at the HQ level.

Cons

Sometimes erratic and inexperienced management get installed at the local office level. Comp Plan inadequacies will likely make it difficult to retain the better salespeople High turnover (probably because of the above)

Pros

Getting to focus on a discrete area of research and getting access to senior stakeholders at both end user organizations and solution providers. A lot of freedom to plan your work as long as deadlines are met. Tons of smart people.

Cons

Extremely global which can require odd working hours and travelling. It also means that your colleagues are spread all over the world and that you rarely meet. Plenty of group calls etc. are also at inconvinient hours if you have small kids due to both European and American participants

Lots of earning potential, working from home and a wealth of information to learn. Work with the brightest minds every day. massive collaboration across departments

Cons

Leadership can be stale, your experience really is derived based on the manager you get. The canteen food is poor, but they are trying to improve it
