      Wonderful company and great IP, and great people, but culture is changing for the worst

      Pros

      Some of the best and brightest work here. Culture of high intelligence and innovative thinking. Great training. Effective processes. Household name, so easier time getting in the door.

      Cons

      PTO is frowned upon in sales. Moving from a strategic company to transaction based. Territories are shrinking and earning potential decreasing.

      Growing company with lots of advancement opportunities Very sales focused strategy which mean leadership support and investments in helping you be successful Excellent brand and value proposition Pooled vacation / sick day allowance which allows for great work-life balance

      Cons

      Pretty complex sale so ramp up can be slow for some, particularly if background is selling tangible products. At times territories can be difficult to manage because of channel conflicts between product groups and geographies

      Very smart dedicated fun friendly people. Compensation and benefits are top notch. Company culture is amazing. CEO is extremely bright. Company is growing. Unlimited growth opportunities. Gartner really truly cares about its employees.

      None - except sometimes you MAY (key word MAY) have to move to take advantage of a promotion.
