Pros

- GREAT benefits (medical, dental, vision, little/no copays, no additional pay for dependents, recognizes domestic partners) - smart employees - Great name for esume building - Many resources available - Large gay employee population

Cons

- Horrible managers - No accountability for poor management - Intellectual elitist - No racial diversity - Extreme hierarchy (poor treatment of staff) - Hard to get anything done - Their mission is to get what they want from studies, grants, etc.- Not to improve life necessarily for beneficiaries- like working for colonizers.

Depends on the team

Pros

Interesting work, cross cutting, gorgeous office, great benefits, can learn a lot.

Cons

Really difficult work life balance - in fact none. Your life quality will depend on your boss and team you are in - good team = happy life; not good team = you might as well drink poison directly (leave). Lots of horrible snaky people.
