Depends on what YOU want out a job or career
Pros
Very decent health benefits (though every year the options change as does the increase you pay for your benefits). You now accrue PTO faster, also Paid Parental Leave option (implemented in the last 4 years).
Cons
Started out as a great company/healthcare system with great intentions, but has gone downhill over many years with the changing of the guard (top executives over the years). Too much tooting of the old horn/look-at-me this is how I'm helping people - when you get down the to the nitty gritty it's not helping people the way it was intended, just more for show and bragging rights. Good competent management and good coworkers is luck of the draw depending on what department you land in. Billing system currently a mess. A HOT mess. Expanding company quickly, but not utilizing already existing (and empty) buildings, instead opting to build more offices that may not be able to be adequately staffed. Implementing tech options that are supposed to "help" and be "user friendly" options (self check-in kiosks with facial recognition), but are neither for people who are "older" and did not grow up with computers and or of stricter Anabaptist backgrounds - both demographics we deal with. For now there are PARR's to help check them in, but remains to be seen if there will be people to help, or if self check in will become the norm.
