Pros

The company is trying to come up with ways to improve nurse satisfaction.

Cons

They are exacerbating the nursing shortage by requiring a BSN for a host of positions. Diploma nurses as well as associate nurses with years of experience should be able to move into positions higher up.

Pros

Great employer for the area, excellent health benefits, generous vacation allowance and accrual, many remote work options and no one seems to ever get fired

Cons

Not competitive re wages on a national scale, isolated location makes you a captive employee. Poor opportunities for real career growth at an organization where many employees are there >20+ years.
