Pros

Genentech is amazing in terms of how many resources they have and how structured everything is. Great perks, corporate culture, co-workers, missions/goals, and support they offer to employees and it's own community.

Cons

Genentech is already a well established company. And because it's such a big company, employees are competitive and sometimes inappropriately aggressive to climb up and be promoted.

Pros

The patients and families that are helped by our therapies are always number one. Employees who feel that way will just thrive here. You're also surrounded by great management, smart people, all in a very casual work environment. Its great to work in an environment without a lot of rules or processes.

Cons

Its not necessarily a downside, but you do have to work hard here. This isn't a place where you can expect to do JUST what your job description reads.
